چکیده
Gibberellic acid (GA3) is the most widely used plant growth regulator to thin out bunches and increase berry size in seedless table grapes, but there evidence of its negative effects, including loss fertility malformations rachis. This study analyses effects applying auxin indole-3-butyric (IBA), as a novel alternative, on fruit yield, bunch structure, anatomy postharvest quality cv. Superior Seedless. The application IBA GA3 at different phenological stages (15 cm shoot length, full bloom, set pea-size berry) doses (2, 20 50 ppm) were compared two-growing season experiment. Spraying bloom or set, improved weight by increasing berries, correlating with promotion rachis vascular tissues. Bunches treated retained greater number berries harvest without generating compactness, since elongation internodes lateral shoulders also promoted. In addition, augmented reducing browning firmness. These results suggest that use beneficial technology improve structure grapes. Highlights applied dosages was evaluated. size. per increased set. internode length via quality, reduced

In vitro Regeneration of Grape (Vitis vinifera L.) cv. Perlette
Factors like slow and seasonal multiplication and infection with pathogens have constrained the use of conventional plant propagation methods, thus lead to development of new and novel methods of propagation like in vitro multiplication which ensures the production of virus and disease free elite planting material in large numbers. In the present work, in vitro regeneration protocol has been st...
متن کاملExogenous Applications of Brassinosteroids Improve Color of Red Table Grape (Vitis vinifera L. Cv. “Redglobe”) Berries
Color and other quality parameters of “Redglobe” grape (Vitis vinifera L.) berries were evaluated after treatment with brassinosteroid (BR) analogs. Three BRs analogs (24epibrassinolide, Triol, or Lactone) were applied at three concentrations (0.0, 0.4, or 0.8 mg·L−1), at the onset of veraison. A commercial formulation (B-2000 R ) was also applied, at a recommended rate of 0.06 mg·L−1. The test...
متن کاملEffect of UV-C Irradiation on Phenolic Composition of ‘Rishbaba’ Table Grape (Vitis vinifera cv. Rishbaba)
The effect of postharvest UV-C irradiation on phenolic compounds accumulation was investigated in berries of ‘Rishbaba’ table grape (Vitis vinifera cv. Rishbaba). Grape clusters were harvested at mature stage and irradiated with UV-C using fluorescent germicidal lamp (30 W, 90 cm) with a peak emission at 254 nm for 0 (control), 5 and 10 min. UV-C treatment had significant effect on individual p...
متن کاملEffects of the times of application of a soil humic acid on berry quality of table grape (Vitis vinifera L.) cv Italia
Humic acids are the most active components of soil organic matter and have been shown to have an hormone-like activity thus stimulating plant growth. The objective of this work was to verify the quantitative and qualitative yield responses of the table grape cv. Italia after the application of a humic acid at various phenological stages. The humic acid used in this study has been extracted from...
متن کاملAccumulation of tocopherols and tocotrienols during seed development of grape (Vitis vinifera L. cv. Albert Lavallée).
Tocopherols and tocotrienols are present in mature seeds. Yet, little is known about the physiological role and the metabolism of these compounds during seed development. Here we present data on tocopherol and tocotrienol accumulation during seed development in Vitis vinifera L. cv. Albert Lavallée (Royal). This species was chosen for its ability to synthesize both tocopherols and tocotrienols....
